Chris is a Domestic Builder Unlimited with a wealth of experience spanning over 15 years in the building industry. His journey began in 2008 as an apprentice focusing on residential construction, which laid a strong foundation for his craftsmanship and attention to detail. Upon completing his apprenticeship with a reputable commercial building company, Chris achieved his Journeyman Red Seal Carpenter certification and then spent a year working for an architectural building company on Gabriola Island, B.C., Canada, further broadening his expertise.

In 2012, Chris relocated to Australia and established himself in Ballarat, taking on a diverse range of residential and commercial projects. Since moving to Wonthaggi with his wife in March 2020, he has embraced the Bass Coast community and continues to pursue his passion for renovations. Chris believes that renovation projects not only preserve the character of beloved homes but also create opportunities for families to shape their ideal future living spaces. His commitment to quality, trustworthiness, and clear communication makes him a valued builder in the local area.

We’re pleased to introduce our mature aged apprentice, Max. With a background as a mechanical engineer and a keen barista, Max has made the transition to apprentice carpenter, bringing a unique skill set and a wealth of practical experience to our team. He has completed various small renovation and home improvement projects for his family and friends, which has given him a solid foundation in hands-on work.

Max is mechanically inclined, learns quickly, and is known for his high attention to detail. Since starting his apprenticeship in March 2024, he has consistently risen to meet the challenges and responsibilities expected of someone in the later stages of training. Max is a diligent worker who never complains, always quietly and competently completing each task assigned to him.

We look forward to seeing where Max’s career takes him, and we hope to retain his services for as long as possible, knowing he is a valuable asset to our team.
